    Russian figure skating pair Yuko Kavaguti and Alexander Smirnov announced Thursday that they will miss the European Championships, which start in Sheffield, England on Saturday.

    yikes about his apendix. I think they've made the right decision. hopefully he's fully recovered and ready for worlds!

    I hope he feels 100% soon!

    They already have four medals out of four years and one is gold so it's best not to push it. I can't wait to see them at worlds.
