Her Adam and Eve palimony skit with Carson is a riot as were her appearances as Ellen on Mama's family. As much as I love her as Rose, Betty sure was fantastic at playing catty characters. Plus there was no great game show guest or player than Betty (for those of you who actually remember when game shows were on TV).
I do love Betty as a cattier lady--or at least one with a quicker wit. She's earned the right to some snappy repartee.
Speaking of game shows in the good old days, here's a poignant episode of the revised To Tell the Truth. I love Betty! I loved her as the gma in You Again, but I grew up with her being on the Golden Girls, so, well... she'll always be Rose to me.
