I kinda like Leonova's program, but some of the facial expressions really bother me.

Alena great job, but double footed the 2nd triple toe to her triple triple which will cost her. Love her energy great program choice for her, step sequence very nice to watch full of expression - what i like about Alena she plays it to the max, maybe 3rd here, her PCS not to the standard of Korpi or Kostner, even V Helgesson for me.
i find both Makarova and leonova very rough skaters. can't wait for the Russian juniors to go seniors!
here the commented results http://thewrongedgefigureskatingblog.blogspot.com/ this competition was very clean. Just 7 falls on the whole night

I might be engaging in wishful thinking, but I hope Viktoria Helgesson can medal.

i think Kostner has got this one wrapped up. you just know Kiira will melt in the free - she always does.
25 for Leonova on TES???? I mean Polina K got 28. This is ABSURD!
I would have had Elene Gedevanishvili in 3rd ahead of Makarova. Elene deserved at least 60+
Wow Alena got no favours. For some reason she's never managed to medal at Euros, even though she always looks like the one to beat after the GP.
Leonova: My favorite ladies program this season!. 3/3 not solid(<<) The rest well done I thought, but only 54,50.
It looks like there will be quite a battle for the bronze in the FS, as scores are clustered.
ETA: Thanks again for all the descriptions!
SUMMARY
Well Silete set the standard, and the next 2 groups did not disappoint. Great to see Kiira skate well and not to far behind Carolina, Carolina, Kiira, Elene, V Helgesson and Ksenia had very nice programs choreographically. all to skate for in the free.
Yes was surprised with Alena's score, she was 2nd favourite here, but she has the free. Have to see the protocols the combo hurt her - must have got a couples of low levels.
