    Thomas Verner started out rough (fall on the quad, but it looked like he got all the way around before the fall), and then he either singled or doubled his first 3A, but came back with a strong one later on which he will need. He ended really well. And remember it's not how you began, but how you end.

    ps: he reminds me of Contesti in that they both had lots of personality & charm & know how to sell a program! Edith Piaf music kicks butt! :D

    After the news about Zhenya's surgery and his not skating in Worlds, I feel less expectant that he will try a quad here, but with Zhenya, you never know; he has a strong will.

    YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS, EVGENI DID IT, HE BROUGHT IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I was standing up & praying the whole time (kept talking to my eldest late brother to be there with Zhenya in spirit; he knows how much I love skating). Ahhh.....no words......just happiness and excitement and relief, lol.

    yay Plushy! the all time MASTER of figure skating. for me he is the best ever, and may well never be surpassed. i'm 100% sure that this is the gold. again.

    Missed the 1st half of Michal's program due to frozen feed, but came back on during the 2nd half, and he looked like he did a darn good job! WTG, Michal Brezina, WTG!!!!!
