3rd group has just taken the ice for their warm up

Korobeynikova is in this group and will be first to skate. If she skates as poorly as she did in her SP, my view is that Russia should send Polina Shelepen to Worlds in her place. In fact, I think they should have selected Shelepen for Euro's in the first place as her only poor performance throughout the season was her SP at Nationals

Well hopefully if they do switch the ladies teams for Worlds
I too hope it will be Shelepen but it might be Biryukova :sheesh:

Well that was absolutely brilliant. The selectors will be feeling justifiably smug with themselves!! Glad I was proved wrong!

This will take the lead

Well done Polina K!!

if she hadn't bomb her SP, she would have won a medal 100%. could she still take a bronze?

ikr, her medal podium was so secure had she not bombed her sp
might be but Korpii and Makarova would have to have a meltdown in their LP if Polina K. can get bronze

Polina was AWESOME!!

Yretha shouldn't be hard on herself: that's a very good debut! I like her!

Disappointing skate from Yretha after her marvellous SP. Moreover, she needs to change that costume as the beads on the back got caught in her hair twice during her FS!

I'm really happy for Polina :)

In other news am I the only one who is really distracted by Elena's HIDEOUS blue glove thingy?

I definitely think she has potential, but she just looks like she simply needs more control over those long limbs of her, lots of jumps look great when she sets them up, she has good height, her air position is also good - but the landings...
