i am commenting live http://thewrongedgefigureskatingblog.blogspot.com/2012/01/european-championships-ladies-free.html now there's the warm up
3rd group has just taken the ice for their warm up
Korobeynikova is in this group and will be first to skate. If she skates as poorly as she did in her SP, my view is that Russia should send Polina Shelepen to Worlds in her place. In fact, I think they should have selected Shelepen for Euro's in the first place as her only poor performance throughout the season was her SP at Nationals
if she hadn't bomb her SP, she would have won a medal 100%. could she still take a bronze?
I definitely think she has potential, but she just looks like she simply needs more control over those long limbs of her, lots of jumps look great when she sets them up, she has good height, her air position is also good - but the landings...Yretha shouldn't be hard on herself: that's a very good debut! I like her!
