    GO CAROLINE.

I honestly hope Mirai is watching this, and realizing that putting effort in is necessary but can have a huge effect even if it takes a lot of time.

I don't think she has Oda issues because he actually lands his jumps. He just can't count. I think her problems are similar to Carolina especially what happened to her at LA worlds. Hoping that she will make a comeback next year with a new coach. I wonder if she gets a say in her music. I really wanted to watch the 9pm showing of the ladies FS but I am so sad for Mirai right now :(

Caroline made me cry and applaud. Except for that first jump, she landed everything and kept going. And what a spiral!

I'm so pleased that she skated to the Dvorak cello concerto. She really brought the most out of it.

And there are Karen Kwan and Peter Oppegard. They should be pleased with the work they've helped her do.

unbelievable. What a comeback for Zhang. I am beyond thrilled for her. And, there really is so much improvement. Yes, yes, yes...she still needs better and deeper edges and knees, better speed. But my gosh wow wow wow. She hit her jumps including two double axels....you could see her breathing and maintaining calm throughout; lovely pearl to bielman at the end. Wow, I'm just so happy for her!

Poor Mirai, I don't know how her Sp was, I feel so bad for her. Ashley seize the moment. Loved caroline and I wrote her off last year, she has lost weight and will never be that tiny phenom again, but she did so well, such a sweet looking girl. She is back, I hope, and only 18 still !st place, can you believe it? GO ASH!

    fingers crossed!

Yes, but I don't think its a matter of not putting in the effort with Mirai -- it may be more about losing her focus and making silly mistakes in competition. I've said all season too that I don't like this program and especially not this music for Mirai -- that may be a huge part of the problem too, or at least a little of the problem this season -- not being inspired by the music.
