Leah was great (too bad about the fall/s) but the choreo was engaging. looking forward to watching her in the future.

I didn't realize that Leah was being coached by Frank Carroll. I'm glad he's still motivated to train a youngster.

She was on the 64 US team in singles with Peggy. She was third in Nats that year and 7th in Innsbruck. She also won 2 silvers in 63 and 65. Krall is her married name. She competed as Christine Haigler. She also placed 4th and 5th at Worlds.

Poor Siraj...the injury is really affecting her skating. but, i think she is incredibly talented, has lovely arms and nice deep knees. I hope she can heal fully and come back strong next year.

Yasmin Siraj is having a tough time with her jumps. Apparently her practice was hampered by an injury. But I love the piece she's skating to, and you can see that she has undeniable talent and musicality.

ETA: Sorry my post seems so redundant. I was a slowpoke typing it. But I do agree that she'll be someone to watch when she's healthier.
