Christina Gao got an 800 on the math section of the SAT and has been accepted to Harvard, wow go her!

(Funny thing is, it's reminded me how on the GRE, an 800 on the math section is only 94th percentile.)

Addition to the list of skaters moving up: Kiri Baga was 14th in the short and is currently in 6th. She can finish no lower than 10th. Great job, Kiri!

Nice to see Gao look happy. A few jumping mistakes and a slip(not fall, but caught an edge it seemed) early in the program; slightly strange posture, but she is so - or appears so - tall it must be a challenge. Good job for her. congrats on Harvard acceptance too!

So happy that Christina did well. She had a horrible time on the GP. I can't wait to see her when she's finished adjusting her technique after shooting up in height.

lol, i agree. i'm an engineering major and an 800 didn't seem that glamorous

Actually, I wasn't saying it's not an achievement. Considering the sheer number of people taking the test, it's still an accomplishment.

Christina is less gangly-what a difference a year makes, she will be a stunning woman...to bad on the jumps...later and stumbles but her opener was hreat... I guess Brian must be in Europe. I like this costume. Is Gao a chinese surname? I like to know where people come from...oh, Mirai...this is going so fast....

oh dear. a lot of hearbreak for Mirai tonight. two falls and a popped jump. but she is fighting back. Here's hoping for a better training situation and some music that really grabs her so she can want to skate to it no matter what is happening.
