Whatever it is, the girl needs some sort of change. Whether it's to move coaches or even take some time away from competing (but still train), she's just lost so much of her spirit.

A little rough for Mirai, but she fought it out.
I really hope Caroline does well here. Just let her have a skate she can be proud of.

What a miserable outcome.

Sandra Bezic said that someone called out Mirai's name and she heard it and turned to look. Sandra said that no other skater would lose focus like that....

A debacle.

Oh, noooo........ It looked so great at first. Sandra's words about Mirai were harsh. Possibly true, but hard.

Thinking about her facial expression??

I'll always be hopeful that she can fix whatever's wrong. She's only 18 and tomorrow is another day.

I'm torn. It would be sad for Marai to not achieve her potential but it's frustrating wondering which Marai will show up to compete.

It's sad to see Mirai skate like that :(
I don't think Mirai like her music and her program unfortunately.
Let's hope that she will comeback with better program next year :)

I really cannot believe this... I wonder if she will quit next year. I want her to leave frank, and train like she used to. She needs to lose that weight, it has affected her jumps. And she must decide to compete under pressure or giv up. Something changed so much after Vancouver it seems. Go Caroline, so beautiful.

ouch....she's behind Flatt. that hurts for her, I know. wow.

I wonder if she has Oda like issues...can't think during a comp. I wonder if there is a way to train programs so she doesn't have to. Anyway stuff of later discussion. right now my heart is heavy for her. Hopeful for the next sakers.
