Chan was amazing. Tight triple lutz, but everything else was beautiful. He'll win, and he'll deserve it with a bullet. Man, that was a terrific skate.

Effortless skate, and he doesn't even look winded...training in Colorado does pay off!
It's a shame that there is so much controversy surrounding Chan's scores because it really tarnishes the fact that he is a very good skater.
Chan's face is so physically un-aesthetically un-appealing, but as far as a skater I have to hand it to him, TWO QUADS, one in combination the 4/3, and TWO 3AXELS, he is definitely the one to beat. BRAVO!![]()

Interesting quote from Patrick's coach as he stepped off the ice... "See? Desire equals power" (Unless I misheard).
He must have really wanted this then because WOW!
185.99 SB!
Phew! I can breathe now.
Dammit! Patrick was this close to a perfect skate of the program, but for a bit of a wobbly landing on the 3sal, and stepping out of his second 3lutz.
I adore Daisuke, but Chan was stunning tonight. Surely his best performance of this program. Outstanding and amazing.
Whoa, Patrick beat Daisuke on PCS by SIX points! O_O
explosive score!!! that's crazy. wins by over 30 points too!
Go denis go for podium!
edt: and my feed completely death.
Here we go!![]()
considering this wasn't Daisuke's best skate, and is Patrick's best skate....6 points in PCS seems about right...but would have to look at the protocol...
