M. Hubbell's dress is interesting, but I think if they were gonna go that way, they needed it to be dazzling. It's almost muted despite what it's trying to do.

Atta' girl! The Chennese girl has a colorful and fun dress!![]()
Xiaoyang Yu's dress looks like mustard-smeared cabbage.
This Chinese team was worth seeing just for the costumes. Love them (but hope never to see anything like them again). She's fantastic - has some of the better Latin flair out there, IMO. He's a bit wooden, wonder if he can improve.
The Chinese are beat after the Short. How are they going to handle the Long?

She has a distracting amount of yellow and green fabric hanging out from under her skirt.
twizzles. He guts out the second set and they somehow get part of a thir
set going. No unison in 2nd & 3rd set of course
Rhumba to Mamba Italiano
second rhumba set. Hit first point well. May get credit for 2nd & 34d point
now we are not rhumbing, we have rhumba
for circular step, justifying going through it with very slow steps
relatively simple lift
back to let's get Loud
to go with the costumes
cartwheel lift-transitional to end, I think
45.42
Man! This crowd is hard on the skater.Mind you...they're probably traumatized by all the bad skating from yesterday.

Music to be rhumba throughout
gray is so not the dress to do this in
first rhumba not a good view for me to tell
lift -Mitch is more secure on the one foot part than he has been in
the past.nic
second rhumba
didn't get the 2nd point, maybe the 3rd
circular step-needs better unison a bit
twizzles out a bit and kind of weak
rotate lift to end
48.52
P/I must be getting hammered on levels (and those twizzles). They need to find someone who can help them with that.
