THey seem decently pleased. She keeps saying she can't believe they got that high. I kind of can't either but that is nice for them![]()
The score was still decent. I don't think they'll be on the podium, but might move up a few spots. It was still a nice program despite the mistakes.
Universal Sports finally came on with it... but now we're just talking about the SPs... and how Andrea Joyce would rather just talk American pairs apparently...
Oh, there's the warmup group! GO AMANDA AND MARK!
I sometimes wonder why I even bother to watch the early groups, but I suppose it's like at the movies, one doesn't wish to miss anything, leastways me.
GOOOOOOOOOOOOO EVORA & LADWIG!!!!!![]()

Btw, I have to hand it to Dube & Wolfe yesterday, I have to say when they did their sbs jumps right *on* time to the music, it was exquisite, perfectly timed, never seen anything quite like that, impressed.![]()
I am commenting live the second group http://thewrongedgefigureskatingblog...airs-free.html

Is it just me, or did Jessica look out of it/uncommitted even before they took their opening pose?
I have to hand it to Jessica, her many years on the international stage have given her polish as a pair skater, she calls the shots (literally during the sbs spins), and is the one in charge, good to see.
Too bad about all the falls though.![]()
l want to cry for D/D. Horrible skate. It's after 3 falls that I really worry about the lifts but they did OK there. His free arm on the last lift was waving ominously though. Well, I know she's tough and will regroup. Don't know anything about him.
I agree with Doris I loved their spiral. Side by side spins not bad either. THe rest was painful to watch. I hope the Canadians are just getting this out of their system before Worlds. Really sad.
