So far so good, crossing my fingers that the final group makes it through without major incident as well.
After Nan Song's near collapse and hospitalization, the Chinese fans are begging S/H not to do the quad throw.

Probably a good idea not to, I don't think they even NEED it to get on the podium.

I think that forcing these skaters to compete at altitude is cruel. Hardly anyone in any discipline has had a good skate thus far, and almost every skater looks ready to pass out by the time their program is done. I really feel for the ice dancers who go after this. Some of those FD's are absolutely relentless, and I would not want to skate a jam packed program that high above sea level. I think they sould really re-consider having events in Colorado at all.

All that PR speak makes interviews totally boring, for almost all skaters. I am so nostalgic for Chris Bowman, Debi Thomas & Elaine Zayak!

I get a kick out of D&W and V&M who at least tell you something about the skating.

    LOL. Cranky Peter is hilarious.....

Final group on the ice. Ugh, Caydee Denney still wearing that dubious hairstyle. At least she's toned down the turquoise eyeshadow....I think.

Yeah, I'm also sorry I'm missing it.

And ITA about holding events at high altitude. I much prefer competitions in which everyone doesn't mess up left and right and gasp for air at the end of their routines.

I don't know why they don't pipe in commentary for the UniSports feed; we paid for it.

It's no surprise Peter Carruthers ranks as one of my favorite all-time commentators, we're simpatico.

And I'm envious those listening to his commentary, you are blessed.

To me they look like they are not connecting well. Not in K&C or on the ice. Skating far away from each other almost not making eye contact.

My wishes are Takahashi/Tran on the podium.
