Decent skate by D/C.....but I admit, I'm almost afraid to see what PCS the judges will give them.

Also, what's with the electric guitar version of Nessun Dorma? Only a hideous, pale imitation of the real thing, made worse by being paired together with those horrible lift positions.

Nice skate by D/C, empty program, she singled the axel, the rest was clean. But boy they got some ugly lifts!!! Over 130, I am sure

Europe lost it's domination in figure skating, except pairs. I'm sorry but so far, except for the Chinese which were pretty amazing, the rest was mediocre, not world podium material. The Russians and the Germans will dominate at worlds

D/C always leave me feeling a little lacking. They are technically strong but I literally cringe watching some of their lifts and just movements. She doesn't even seem to try to point her toe or get good extension. Oh well.

D&C all good except the singling of one jump. Audience didn't mind their fugly lifts.

Seriously, they did very well and sold it.

She needs a new dress though. An aqua haltertop with a little white patch where the top of her tights would be is all wrong for Tosca... ETA: oops, make that Turandot... she needs glittery black, to match him, or at least dark red.

In terms of a "man & woman" skating together with tons of chemistry these two beat everybody out by far, and one can just sit back & relax & enjoy, no trepidation whatsoever, well deserved medal here at 4CC!!!!

ps: I have shivers, almost cried, they're that charismatic & beautiful....ahhhh.....Peter Carruthers was right when he said Caydee Denney would have been successful in ANY sport she chose (same as John), Thank God they chose figure skating. (:^)

Denney and Coughlin are a really exciting pair with this really awesome trashy style- she looks like a Vegas showgirl.

I don't mean that as a diss either.

It really works for them. They go well together.
