I don't know, I just want him to really relax now and take it easy. I'm not sure, his last 2 outings...it seems to me he is really, really! exhausted and tired. I kind of wonder if it wouldn't make sense to skip the next Grand Prix season. I know he needs to get out there and perform, but I think a lot of this outcome has to do with overdoing it, peaking too early in the season and fatigue. And the programs which I didn't really like that much from the start. I don't think the judges loved them as much as Team Dai obviously hoped for. Changing the SP was also a bad idea, this late in the season.

And yes, Camerlengo & Dai, please get back together!

I think Dai was wonderful most of the season and last. Seems he was tired and didn't have enough pop in his quad to land properly and also in practice. I think he just has to rest more next season and stay healthy.I think there shouldnt be so many shows in Japan until after Olympics. I certainly don't count him out. Always adored and iam glad even without a medal he always takes comfort in skating for the audience. Would also like to see a Camerlengo program again.

I wish I could somehow tell Dai that I and the rest of his fans still adore him, even though he's been struggling the last two competitions. I'm broken-hearted for him, but I hope he knows he still the best, even if he couldn't put his jumps together. Not the way I wanted his last WC to go, but I can only hope he'll come back stronger. His short program was one that I will watch over and over again. His free skate broke my heart, but that short program was a masterpiece. It made me feel something, you know? You could feel his emotion, even through the TV screen. I had chills. While his free skate seemed cautious to me, I felt like he put everything he had into that short program. He skated with abandon, throwing caution to the wind. The step sequence was electric, and I just want to watch it again and again. Programs like that are why I love him, but no matter what he does, I'll always be his fan. I'm so glad Dai has loyal fans like the ones in this thread who will stick with him through the good and bad. He deserves it. <3

"I am very mad at myself, because I could not skate the way I had been practicing in my preparation for this Worlds", after Free skate said Takahashi with tears in his eyes, who placed 8th in the Free and 6th overall.

Takahashi made a couple of mistakes on jumps; two-footed his opening quad, then poped the second one into triple by losing the timing for its takeoff/toepick. In spite of spending so much time for training as he's never done before, his such efforts did not pay off in the competition.
"Too much thinking...I was sort of impatient. Going into competitions, I need to prepare myself in a much proper way in order to prevent any blunders like this happen again", words of deep repentance came out of Takahashi's mouth.

<-

"The conditions of my jumps went downhill after I moved to London...I wasn't confident enough of (=was worried about) my jumping ability and such. I feel galling/vexed about myself so much. I will never ever forget this feeling."

<-

Another article I read mentioned that after 4CC Dai spent 6hrs on ice a day in the US and practiced more than 100 jumps.
With the advice from Nikolai, he even changed the entrance into his quad...

"Results are all (=results only matter). In any sports. Feel so mad at myself." said Takahashi with tearful eyes.

Why do they mention "with tears in his eyes" and "tearful eyes" ? I'm tearing up myself, knowing he cried over this. Damn.

I feel terrible--not because Dai had a bad skate for the LP but because he feels sad about his performance. I hope he will take comfort from the support of his fans and realize that with a little rest, he'll be ready to take on the world next season. There's no skater today, and there are few in the past, who can match his quality and musicality.

The three Japanese girls, of course Mao, Akiko and Kanako, were preparing a gift.

Good girls! Thank you for cheering him up!!:clap:

That's wonderful! Thanks for letting us see the pictures. I just hope Daisuke knows that all his fans would have signed the card too if we had been able to.

How sweet of Akiko, Mao and Kanako to make Dai a birthday gift. The B/Day cake looks delicious.

Thanks for photos and thanks to let's talk for Dai's Exhibition video link. He is breathtaking as usual!

Do you all think that Dai will go to WTT? I believe that each country has to submit their list of participants
no later than March 25th.

I kind of hope he won't, so he can rest up. But of course I'd love to see him skate once more this season.

^I feel the same way. He has not mentioned any reason for his jump problems other than he is fatigued, but I wonder. Earlier this
season we were told he had boot problems which he may well have had but his boot problems were supposedly fixed and now it is
fatigue. Any how whatever it is I hope he gets healthy and recovers soon. I am sure he will feel a lot better once gets home to Japan
after being away from home for so long. I think that Dai is more comfortable training in Japan.

From Akiko's blog this afternoon: https://twitter.com/Mariakko2010/status/314287898801352705/photo/1

Good to know that now it's official Daisuke will compete at WTT next month. Because, to tell the truth, I bought a ticket last night for 1st and 2nd day. (soldout for 3rd day though...:disapp:)
I understand he must be fatigued a lot by now, but I am sure Dai will get lots of love and cheers from his fans there!

These are my favorite performance by Daisuke in 2012-03 season: :)

SP1 at GPF: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CdQlLYAC4Jc
SP2 at Worlds: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FchiPNpBNYw
Free at GPF: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SciWgOL0EjY ->I'd prefer this one than his Nationals ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RtoUoiorSQ8 ), because while not perfect in jump-wise, he expresses every note of the music just beautifully.

As if it was ever "unofficial". Of course everyone knew he would go there. I am little annoyed that he is being used like a cash cow and he works every event for JSF just becaue his team doesn't come up with excuses. Yeah, I bought tickets too long time ago and will be cheering for him. But somehow I do feel it would be only fair if he takes some rest. Thanks to Akiko for the great pic! :)
