It’s really a nice video! (I just repeated his performances at Ice Legends…He is one of the kinds…) Dai’s character is so lovely! He says he got easily moved to tears since he cried for that Mao’s FP at Sochi…

Yes. Evgeni Platov used to be an assistant coach, along with Maya Usova, not Oksana Grishuk

at Team Tarasova in Simsbury, US where Dai was coached by her during 2003-05 seasons; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=drYtIDzcrF0 @11:16 you will see gorgeous Kiss&Cry.

The reason she had a couple of assistant coaches was TAT didn't demonstrate on ice by herself when choreographying programs for skaters. She gave ideas and her assistants demonstrated them as actual choreographies, instead.

Regarding that Daisuke "Sabre Dance" program and that performance. It's cool :luv17: :agree: His haircut makes me think about some j-pop star :biggrin:

I am pretty sure that that this is the first time I see him with that thing on his head :laugh:

I don't recall ever watching that program either to be honest. And that costume gives some additional video games character (Final Fantasy) to that, so it makes it 1000% Japanese :biggrin:
