The Youth Olympics without a live stream was bad enough. But for the ISU not to sort out a live stream for the junior worlds, one of its major championships, is very poor stuff. At the very least, they should have insisted as a condition of handing the championships to the host country that they provide one. Here we are looking to the ISU to inject some new life into the sport. But unless the wider public have some means of watching it, then the ISU are going to get absolutely nowhere. The sooner we have new leadership within the ISU, the better.

ikr, junior worlds is major yet little coverage
Its frustrating to look at live charts all for the results :disapp:

such low score for Simpson/Blackmer probably fell on the throw and Davnkova/Deputat messed up their SBS jumps

I'd wait for the protocol but more likely SBS jumps also.
the other 2 american pairs outrank Simpson/Blackmer and both posted new SB
there is room for Free skate tommorow the silver and bronze is still up for grabs

I just hate how Davankova/Deputat are almost always unclean in their SP :disapp:
mandatory singled or footed landed jumps they should have been 2nd or 3rd in SP by now

Shame for Bobak/Beharry. They've barely made a mistake all season. I know it's a long shot, but I'd love it for them to move up to bronze in the free. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

bronze is still likely those ranked from 6-2 ( including Bobak/Beharry )
but for Simpson/Blackmer not very likely :disapp:

pairs so far is not that predictable
maybe it will be the same for men and ladies

Just looked at the protocols and D/D didn't mess up their jumps - in fact, positive GOE on all elements but step sequence was only a level 2. B/B had minus GOE on throw and sbs. It is really wide open between 3rd and 7th (1.7 pts)

Where did someone get the idea that D/D messed up the jumps? On the protocols, I did not see it. Was there a live stream?

Have any videos been put up yet?

Although I haven't seen the skating, from what I saw in the protocols, D/D seemed to be underscored while S/H overscored. So many 3's seniors do not receive. I'm not talking about the jumps and throws part but getting 3's on steps and lifts. Really? At the same time, I do understand the story- they were 2 time world champions already and are coming in with a 4cc win.

It's very close for the bronze medal, there is only 1.67 between 3rd and 7th. I don't think D/D and G/B had much luck been drawn in the first group, it probably had an impact on their PCS plus with it been their first international comp they were at a disadvantage. Looks like a chinese 1 - 2 at this point, I wonder will S/H do the quad twist and throw? They should win by a very wide margin.
