Since I presume barring an unusual occurrence or WD, that the rest of the field still to skate will score above 40 and qualify, I'd like to be officially bummed on behalf of Anine Rabe of Norway, who missed qualifying for the free skate by 0.03 of a point. To be so close....
Polina Shelepen is 3rd up in the next group and Adelina Sotnikova 6th up.
Personally, I fear for Adelina given the form she is in. She has consistently failed on the combination in the short program this season. Am I right in thinking that she will be doing a 3Tx3T? I know she cannot use the 3Zx3R due to the rules in place this season in juniors.
If she is feeling good, she may go for a 3Fx3T

Go Adelina!!
Good for Gracie for putting out a solid program but her jumps (sans the 2a) all looked a bit off. She was leaning on the landing of her 3-3 and lutz, but still clean. I hate that program though...I hope she ups her game next season and moves into more mature/substantial music and choreography. I'd expect to see a 12 year old skating to a Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairies remix.I think the program is what stopped her score from being in the 60s. Her presentation doesn't match up to Adelina's or Julia's so that's the hump she'll have to get over. Still, good performance for her first trip to junior worlds. That score should hold her up for a top 5 placement heading into the LP. If Julia, Adelina and Zijun Li go clean (w/ 3-3s) I'd think Gracie would be in 4th place. I'm pretty positive Julia will have her 3t-3t and if Adelina does her 3t-3t and goes cleanly those two will be neck and neck. Zijun Li has a 3f-3t and I really hope she brings it. Her SP is wonderful and if she lands her jumps she should score well.
