Laura Lepistö ends competitive career
According to her, she couldn't find the same passion she had when she was competing. She made the decision a couple of weeks ago and told first to her coach. After that she told her family. Laura thinks one of the biggest reasons for retiring is the fact that she has achieved everything she has wanted. She is now relieved and happy that she has been able to make the decision.
Oh my, such a shame she had to end her career with an injury :( I am glad that she has taken a decision and can move on now, I wish her all the best!!!
Off the ice
Actually, if you think about it - Laura ended her career with a world medal, as she hasn't competed since 2010 Worlds. She can be very proud of all she's accomplished. Best of luck to her in the future!

Definitely sad that we won't see Laura again, but yes, she should be proud of her career. Hoping for good things in her next act of life.
This should have been a very tough decision. Hope the best for her!
