Thanks SkateFiguring. This is very 'educational' and interesting to me as I am wanting to understand this sport and its marking criteria better. Time for some serious study.

For those of you who appreciate such videos, don't forget my other links to

    Rink Results

which shows videos with protocols and other stats from Worlds and Euro, as well as

    these jump videos with scoring

that I preciously linked in a thread which quickly drifted into the ubiquitous COP debate.

Since my original thread, ayo2ayo has included a series of Ladies' elements with scoring from 2011 Worlds.

step sequence; WC 2011 Ladies SP

Pull down her/his whole series of 13 videos to see them all.

These too, by Christinael are educational

    Layback Spins IJS Level 4

Combo Spins with Change of Foot IJS Level 4: JGP Budapest

Flying Sit Spins IJS Level 4: JGP Budapest Ladies SP

SF, I find these vids easy to see, follow and learn the difference between better or best. Doris, is it possible for GS to group all these vids together in one thread? I think there are some other similar vids located in other threads. Thanks.
