Crushing on Hanyu, Abbott, Kozuka, & Farris <3
I can't get over how many mistakes we've seen, particularly from Russian, US, and Japanese skaters.
-
Aw, sad for the Shibs. You can tell they want to prove so badly that they can be more mature, better performers. I think they probably tried too hard. Well chin up, you will do better!
-
Wow, I don't think I've ever seen the Shibs mess up on twizzles before. Poor guys
-
So sad for Shibutanis, they were always so precise.

Like subtlety in ice dancing
Sad trombone for the Shibutanis.

It happens to the best of them sometimes. V/M messed up twizzles a few comps ago. Just a pity about the timing.
-
82.37. I don't think I've ever seen them score that low.

-

Do you think they count the scores and arrange the placement? coz the difference from RT is tiny

Alex is laughing; I've doubt he's seen scores like that for them in a looooooooong time.
Y'know, it's disappointing but it happens. They are still very young and have a long time before they can challenge as serious medal threats; last year was a big fluke and they aren't going to be able to even dream about just winning Nationals for a few years longer. Chalk it up as a learning experience and move on!
I'm still mighty impressed by what I see from the Shibs overall. They have a lot of potential and can be top-tier staples in the years to come.

Wow, Shibs get the 2nd lowest TES of the night so far - who would have thought? I guess the twizzles got 0 point.
Hope Alex doesn't kick himself too hard. They both looked very disappointed and akward in Kiss n Cry... :-(
