Wow, Kozu seems to be taking costume inspiration from Patrick Chan ... now let's see if Kozu's scores match up.

These guys have been inconsistent all season, unfortunately. Clean programs have been few and far between (especially two clean in the same event!).

Ah, I feel so sorry for poor Takahiko Kozuka, all those mistakes. My favorite program from him was that FABULOUS Jimmie Hendrix routine he did during the Olympic Year.

Popping that lutz into a single is about a 6 point write off for Hanyu. He did get very decent PCS, and outside of his jump mistakes, he seemed to be skating better than ever to me. Incredible flow and stretch to everything, he firmly embraced every edge and move. He's still in a decent spot points-wise.
