In fairness, the only triple jump that Alissa was close to landing today was the 3flip - she didn't fall on it, but I suspect it was underrotated.

Oh that's right. She usually does two 3Fs in her programs, doesn't she? One of those is missing, and it's easy to suspect that it's due to injury since that's one of her best jumps.

Or maybe it's two 3Loops. I'm confusing myself. All I know is that she normally does more than she is currently doing.

Alissa is probably not injured. She's just like Jeremy but worst. She's not a great competitor and maybe she's going through something emotional.

Love them both but it's time to move on.

Someone said somewhere that USFS told Phil to ease up on his criticism of Czisny. Who knows for sure though.

ashley is a tiger. i have hopes.

to be honest i too prefer the wussy princessy type to fangs bared saliva dripping down predator-mode skaters, but... clearly, we have no princesses who pack a dagger in her garter in our armamentarium... or at least we refused to place her top 2.

Your post made me LOL! Thanks for the visual and some comic relief. I need it right now! Boy, what an EMOTIONAL day!!

Alissa's disposition does not seem to include a competitive factor. Some people are like that. Certainly not a good sign when competitive skating is in your agenda. She literally seems to freeze. Good Luck to her in her future endeavors.

I can't recall a world championships where at least one lady in the first two groups didn't go absolutely clean.

More snarks about Rachael Flatt, typical. :rolleye:

What a bunch of hypocrites. "why Godfather why" (waahhhh).

Anyhow, that's all in the past, and turned out just as I predicted beforehand.

Now I just want Ashley to skate "Black Swan" like she did at 4CC or even Nationals. Go out on a good note in front of royalty.
