I think it's one of those things where "you don't know what you had until it's gone" types of things... folks didn't think it could "get any worse" than Sasha... they got what they asked for by tempting the skategods that way.

Even more, what does that say about how great Michelle Kwan was!!! Nine straight years on the podium! 5 World titles! U.S. figure skating is in the throws of death – to say the least. Kwan, Cohen and possibly Sarah Hughes, would have wiped the floor with this current crop of ladies. And I love Mirai, Caroline and Alissa. They show flashes of brilliance, but it's true.

If Ashley doesn't pull this out then the USFA seriously needs to go to Michelle and Sasha's agents and talk to them.

Michelle is still in fighting shape. Sasha has a normal healthy body now. She doesn't really jump anymore. lol But maybe in time for Sochi. This is just sad. Let's hope Ashley skates the lights out.
