Loved this first group! All of the men gave their best, only two falls and everybody performed his heart out there. Such a pleasure to watch!

Takahiko KOZUKA (JPN)

Music: Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind (soundtrack)

13th after SP

2T
4T+2T - holds on, 4T perhaps UR <
3A - hand down/stepout
CCoSp
CiSt - good flow
3A+2T+2Lo
FSSp
2F
3Lo
3S
3Lz+3T - nice! On replay the 3T might be short on rotation
ChSt
FCCoSp - nice scratch spin at the end

Not his best, but I love his flow across the ice. He'll have a chance to move up, perhaps...

I feel so sorry for Takahiko, at the end he seemed lost, but I'm sure he will come back next year fighting! :)^)

2t/4t-2t(shaky landing)/3A(hand down)/3A-2t-2lo(also shaky)/2flip/3loop/3sal/3lz-3t. Very poor first half, but managed to survive the latter half. I love this free program, wish he could keep it, refine for the next season.

Well, that was better yesterday but won't get Kozuka anywhere near the podium. Good for him for going for that 4T-2T, though.

Awww, Taka-chan. So close and yet so far away. You'll reach that place next year!

Sad for Takahiko. He's my personal favorite. Really love his skating, but it's just not his Worlds. He redeemed the second half though. Beautiful second footwork sequence as always.
