Watching Chan he's like a machine yet nothing in his skating moves me.

Uh...confused. Was that a fall on a jump or footwork?

    Patrick CHAN (CAN)

Music: Adagio from Concierto de Aranjuez by Joaquin Rodriguez

    1st after SP

    4T - nice!
4T+3T - clean, but close to the boards
    3A
    CiSt
    FCCoSp
    3Lz+1Lo+2S - shaky
    3Lo
    3F
    CSSp
    3Lz
A - completely messes up 2A entrance, falls
    ChSt
    CCoSp

Not perfect, but enough for gold. What a great afternoon of skating...

Chan has become a much better competitor. Gotta give it to him.

Did Chan finish behind the music?

His performance is totally lacking in emotion for me, but he stays true to his vision as a skater and I completely respect that and how hard he works. He does not give up on a performance! What a gutsy competitor; a true fighter on the ice!

He was going into the 2A but fell before he could actually jump.

Well regardless of the fall, it was a good performance. Should be enough.

In other words, he's like Evan Lysacek, but with MUCH BETTER skating skills and choreography, but still lacking in heart and emotion. JMO.

Crowd is booing. Still won the FS with a fall, a doubled jump and a totally uninspired performance. I don't know why I still watch this.

Japan should file a formal protest. Enough of this already.
