good debut score! I don't like the long as much in practice as the short. The short is much quirkier and more "Gracie"

Great job Kaetlyn!! Good luck in the final!![]()
I didn’t think the music suited her, especially during the step sequence. As for the jumps, I could be wrong, but I thought she landed 3Lz-3T and popped the second lutz. Do you know what her second jumping pass is intended to be? I couldn’t tell because it looked (to me) like she didn’t execute it during both the warmup and competition. She didn’t attempt 2A-3T, so I thought the second jumping pass might be a new triple-triple sequence that she didn’t execute?
Gracie's second triple-triple was a triple flip, half loop, triple toe. She stepped out of her double Axel and did not try the sequence. She doubled her second intended triple Lutz.

Selene, you watched Gracie Gold's Senior Ladies FS B qualifying skate on Friday, right? Thanks for your report! nylynnr is referring to Gold's Final round FS on Saturday. There are 3 Skate Detroit articles up on IceNetwork about Hannah Miller edging out Gracie Gold in Saturday's Final, Gold's 'Rippon Lutz' and a summary of Senior Pairs/Men, as well as several off-ice photo galleries.
Senior Ladies Final FS (11 competed):
Hannah Miller 111.77 [60.95 TES/50.82 PCS], Gracie Gold 110.60 [58.39/52.21], Kaetlyn Osmond (CAN) 100.03 [52.52/49.51 -2], Kate Charbonneau (CAN) 91.63 [43.93/47.70], Gabrielle Daleman (CAN) 85.31 [47.01/40.30 -2], Carly Gold 85.25 [44.02/41.23], Becky Bereswill 79.32 [37.38/43.94 -2], Karina Johnson (DEN) 77.91 [39.49/39.42 -1], Madeline Koehler 74.78 [36.07/40.71 -2], Nina Jiang 73.98 [33.95/41.03 -1], Amanda Dobbs 72.44 [35.33/38.11 -1] [WD: Lauren Dinh]
I've copied out all the results photos that were sent to me (Juvenile-Senior) and posted them in my blog (link is in post #27).

and does anyone know why youtube is so slow with uploading videos? it's taken an hour to upload 19% of gracie's 4 minute video and i have a fast connection.

Thanks for posting these. Great job in the long program. Let us know when you know more at Wild Rose also, please.
It's interesting to think that if the rumours are true there's at least a possibility that two Canadian champions this season might be skating to Carmen. There might be a few comments from some posters on this board and other boards if that happens!

Thanks, macy, for your videos (as well as for last year's Skate Detroit videos!) - I posted your link to Miller's above (#35) and look forward to watching Gold's and Jiang's when you get them uploaded.
Thanks for posting Kaetlyn Osmond's video links, Buglady!
My hearsay info is that Gold's Final round FS jumps at Skate Detroit were 3Lz+3T, 3F+half loop+3S combo, 2A, 3Lo, 2A step out [intended 3rd combo, maybe a 3-jump one?], 2Lz [intended triple], 3F.
Happy to see this Senior highlights article from Golden Skate! http://www.goldenskate.com/2012/07/2...or-highlights/
Definitely it's intended as another 3Lz, not a 2Lz (if you are doing a double anything intentionally, it's probably an Axel as a 2Lz is only worth 1.9 points). The 2A should have been 2A+2T+2Lo (right now). I believe the 3F+1/2Lo+3T is intended to eventually be 3F+1/2Lo+3S. Program is VERY new still, so it's not settled completely yet nor is it second nature like last year's so you have performed it a "million" times yet. Skate Detroit was her first outing with it competitively, so pacing and where the rough spots are competitively are probably now identified.
