Now, she's worthy of taking the lead in a Broadway show....although definitely not Marilyn.

I wonder how she is going to impact. Or is Derek going to get another bug up his butt and decide we can have a black Marilyn? LOL

Interesting! Inspired, actually. A lady who has accolades for singing and also for acting. She'll certainly add flash to the show.

Tom's boyfriend Sam was promoted from "recurrring" to "regular" - http://tvline.com/2012/07/06/leslie-odom-jr-smash/

This is also the first time I've read the show being called a "singing soap" and not a "musical drama." Not liking this direction. BLAH.

Looks like Karen will waste no time getting over Dev - http://www.broadway.com/buzz/163179/...-set-of-smash/

I hate that they're taking it into a more soap opera direction... oh well, at least season 1 was enjoyable.

that should be very funny...Sean is a wonderfully comedic actor and that was a very funny sitcom. It is rare to have all four leads so equally talented. I think Smash will be watched if they keep up with the quality of the broadway rehearsal scenes. I enjoyed it- and would like to rewatch sometime, too...
