Is he the next patrick chan or more of a johnny weir or....
Yes, yes! Please do so.
And if you ever have a chance to talk to him or his mom, please tell them that there are Japanese fans who are rooting for Keegan for us, especially for my husband!
He LOVES Keegan's powerful jumps and spins (so do I!). Everytime he sees them, he says the same things again and again, "Keegan jumps as if he were flying into, no, flying over the board! His sit spins are just inhuman, he spins as if he does have a turbo-engine on his butt. Now it is a sport, don't you think?"
He's also decided to root for Keegan even more when I told him about some disadvantages of Keegan to be a skater from Alaska and/or not to be coached by world-famous ones such as Frank Caroll.![]()

Alas, this year I don't get to go anywhere. It's a hectic summer.
We just got done hosting my nephew's wedding on the front lawn.
Next Saturday we have a ton of guests coming for OpSail 2012
Plus my niece is staying with us for the summer.
So I won't be going much of anywhere this summer ( well I did manage to make it to the Maine Blues Festival to watch our grandson Cam perform there, but nothing else )

I'll miss Liberty...I love seeing the new programs debut
Keegan Messing & Ross Miner are always highlights for me at Liberty.
This I do not approve of. You missed last year, too, didn't you?

Doris, we'll miss you & Mr. Ski @ Liberty.Congrats on your nephew's wedding, and enjoy your niece's company this summer.
watching Ross Miner and Harrison Choate (junior level) too!
I won't be able to get our own videos of Keegan (I'm no "techie"), but hopefully we can get some decent pics of him.
Sure, as long as my husband puts them up on the computer for me. I tagged Keegan in some up close & personal pics from this year's Nationals and they are on his FB site. I'll have to check to see that I've done that for Keegan's previous appearances at Liberty & last year's Nationals.
I tagged the pics of us with him on his personal FB page. I requested him to befriend me, and he accepted!
Congrats on the wedding!
Op Sail? There's going to be an Op Sail? How wonderful. I love the tall ships. Tell us all about it afterward. [Edit: I just looked at your link. Of course: it's the 200th anniversary of the War of 1812. Wow!]
It's great that so many of us can personally support skaters. It must mean a lot to a skater to have such an ardent fan base. I love when I hear how responsive they are. The personal element of skating fandom adds so much to my appreciation of the sport.
