She's been a wonderful skater to have around and unique in many respects. I'll miss her if she goes. I'm still so thrilled that she gets to say she is a world champion.

Nice was just a wonderfully high note of the journey in her career. The whole season was magical, as she is a magical skater all along. I for one was happy to see her overcome difficult times she had and get her sparks back like that.

But whatever decisionshe is gonna make, MY BEST WISHES FOR CAROLINA!!!

This is one of MANY of my favorite skates by this magical young lady:

Carolina beautifully skating to Kanon with a huge opening 3F+3T at Tokyo Worlds in 2007, where I have so many unforgettable memories.

^ Oh, that's one of my favorite Carolina performances, too, deedee1!

As much as I would miss Carolina's programs, like this one and her two programs from this past season, it does seem like it might be a good time for her to leave -- go out on top and not have to think about making the two-year push til Sochi. She might really struggle to find motivation for yet another Olympics and to find anything more she really wants or needs to "say" via competition style programs.

Last season's programs were so wonderful to me, and to top it off with the WC -- I couldn't be happier for Carolina whether she retires or stays.
