Al Alberts did it.

More famous, but in the same vein, about Cape May's busier neighbor, Wildwood, NJ.:

(We lived there when we were first married. Ski was stationed at the USCG Wildwood Station.)

Picture yourself in the world of the Drifters' Under The Boardwalk (could be anywhere in the older towns on the Jersey Shore)

Believe it or not, Massachusetts has a State Polka, so in honor of this year's SD:

State polka: Say Hello to Someone from Massachusetts by Lenny Gomulka

Dee, just curious, what song does this parody? Can I use "parody" as a verb?

Gail, I am not real familar with Weird Al so I looked it up and this is what I found. So thanks for helping me learn something new. I used a search engine for cities in songs and this is one that came up.

"Albuquerque" is the last song of "Weird Al" Yankovic's Running with Scissors album. At 11 minutes and 22 seconds, it is the longest song Yankovic has ever released on any of his official studio albums.

With the exception of the choruses and occasional bridges, the track is mostly a spoken word narration about Yankovic's made-up life in Albuquerque, New Mexico, after winning a first-class one-way airplane ticket to the city.

My answer

Amsterdam - Joan Baez
