This is a great event for Connecticut basketball fans! Since the Whalers left (hockey), the UConn basketball teams and the Mohegan Sun ladies team are the closest thing we have to major sports here.

Geno Auriemma of the UConn ladies team is the coach!

And Maya Moore & Diana Taurisi (formerly Lady Huskies) are on the team.

And Tina Charles and Asjha Jones of the Connecticut Sun on the team.
