United "lost" a 10 year old passenger!

These stories are becoming more common. THIS is why I went to Disneyland in the heat of summer - so that my neice (who is only SIX) would not have to travel home alone after her trip.

It's getting harder and harder to trust airlines, because they're probably running on a thinner and thinner profit margin. Higher turnover of employees, less employee training, more tasks expected from each person in the name of productivity.

If they don't have the man power, they shouldn't offer it - even by third party. This is just one of many stories, and I've seen a mix up happen first hand. I've never seen a good customer service story come out of it. I get it's stressful, but if you'rre going to take money and provide the service and you don't deliver? that's not the consumer's fault, that's yours!!
