Always supporting skaters :)
This is a great thread...when do the first senior Bs start?

Ice Star in Belarus has a senior division, and is on the ISU calendar, and is open to all ISU member countries, so it may be a Senior B
It is September 7 to 9

In Salt Lake City, they are holding North America's first Senior B Sept. 12 to 16

The next one after that is Nebelhorn Sept 29-27, one of the traditional European Senior B's

If you check how this works, I erase the previous competition (Courchevel) from the first post, store it in the Courchevel competition folder, and insert new info in the first post.

BTW, since this is a regular column, I hope you all will make suggestions about what you'd like to see, either in this announcement thread, and in the previews.

Check out the first post for current events & links.
To make them more obvious, links to the GS thread or folder for an event have this

in front of them, and they are bolded.

If you're wondering where posts you made on this thread went, I have just moved them all to the threads & folders for the event you were commenting on (Salt Lake, Nebelhorn, Nepela, French Masters, etc).
I did not want the interesting conversations involved to be lost in a long thread about everything.
I urge you to post in the folder/thread for each competition. A link to those threads/folders will still be in the first post, as will be schedules & other links for competitions about to start and ongoing competitions.
Most important, of course I will miss some events! I know about any that we aren't covering, please post about them here, and I will make a folder or a thread for them.
So on to Chemnitz and the 39th JGP Pokal der Blauen Schwerter 2012, and more US Regionals
Another thing-Paula has asked that I limit the title of this thread to a single event, so that's what I will be doing. The first post will still have info about the whole week's events, whatever and wherever they might be.
