Titushkina was very impressive. 3Lz+3T, 3F, 2A. Very nice, easy looking jumps. She's quite elegant and polished (and tall!) for a 13 year old. Her spins are a bit slow, though. It was a great international debut, though, and she's definitely looking like a medal threat and a JGPF contender if she can keep it together.

Viljanen was also really pleasant to watch, with nice polish and good basics. Unfortunately, the video cut off and you could only see a 3T+2T and a 2F....

It looks like Ashley skated well; she just doesn't have the tech content.

The videos have started to go up:

Plus it was nice to see the jumps were not the first 3 elements. I liked the steps going into her 3F. Her skate is a bit sloppy, she has the Bambi look on the ice but that it is totally fine for a 13 year old. Overall a very very nice debut and I like her

She really looks promising. If she had a bit faster spins, she would score better of course. I am also glad that she will come to JGP Bosphorus.

I think we will see a battle between Radionova and Lam in this competition. Titushkina may get the bronze medal here.

Lam always seems to come up short. She tends to "own" fourth place at US championships, which is what she is doing still on the JGP.

I agree that Radionova should score bettr than Titushkina, if she is on. Titushkina isn't just slow in the spins, she looks slow overall, but a very promising youngster. Because of her size, you forget how young she is.

Really liked Hwi CHOI, lovely skater. Ashley was underscored in PCS, especially compared to the other skaters. She is in a different league IMO

Titushkina is much, much better than at previous season!
Htr slowness - her permanent problem, but now she is much faster.
    Technical level much higher.

It's her best SP for all the time. Waiting for FS.
