I can't wait to see her performance! Also, she surpassed Lipnitskaya in her debut both tes and pcs wise. In Poland last year, Lipnistakaya got 112 in the free skate. Radionova just got 117. It has to do with the fact though that she has the 3lz-3t. Not a lot of junior girls can do that combo. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think even Tukt did not do that 3lz-3t at international comps when she skated in juniors.
Tukt did do the 3Lz+3T as a junior and still does

Amazing skate by Radionova, I can't wait to see it. She absolutely destroyed the competition. Overall, it sounds like it was a bit of a splatfest. Soooo many deductions!

Fun fact: All 3 medalists today were in their first ever JGP event!

As for the US ladies, Cain will most likely not get an other event; I wonder if Lam will.

I know that Tukt did and still does the 3lz/3t combo, I just couldn't remember if she successfully did it at junior grand prix. I just looked it up and yes she did it in her first comp in Dresden.

Boy that was a big spaltfest! So many falls. Will have to see the videos to see what happened. Awesome job by Radionova. I agree she needs some polish, but to be honest, she does more for me than Lipnistakaya. Not sure why.

Please USFS do NOT give either Lam or Ashley Cain a second JGP event they don't deserve it. Bad enough that they did it last year for Ashley when she finished 6th at her first competition but someone like Gracie Gold should have gotten a earlier event and maybe made the JGP final. Give one of the events to someone like Barbie Long or Polina Edmunds they have skated well this summer and deserve it.

    Radionova's LP:

I love how she expresses the music in the step sequence. Her jumps get such good height and distance! I can't wait to see how this develops throughout the season.

i also prefer radionova to lipnitskaya. IMO she has more warmth and charm and projects better to the audience. more musical, too.

my favorites from this competition, falls and all, are radionova, titushkina, hwi choi, and ziquan zhao. choi especially. wouldn't hurt choi to wear the conventional pwetty princess outfit for one of her programs, though i'm thankful for no-gloves.

I love Elena Radionova! Wow, I super love her skating. Everything is just so polished! Beautiful technique and artistry. A rare combination of supreme technique and artistry. I love that she performs for the crowd and is does all these exquisite nuances. Her joy is also very infectious. Simply charismatic and lovely in every sense of these words.

I would prefer Elena over Julia at anytime. Leaps and bounds!

Unfortunately Vanessa Lam and Angela Wang are assigned to JGP Slovenia. I would love to see Polina Edmunds, too. But it seems like USFS doesn't give any chance to the summer stars. Bad strategy.

The ISUJGP2011 playlists include both SP and LP. However, if you have already watched the SP, and want to watch just the LP, the LP starts here with Monzali (FRA)
