Pairs SP JGP Lake Placid 2012
For those of you without coverage, I'll be doing live play by play and analysis of the Pairs Short Program starting with Group 2: http://icemusings.blogspot.com/2012/...t-program.html
the Golden Era
another lost PCS marks from unlucky draw by Davankova/Deputat
I hope they make ground for LP, why do they always get unlucky draws

Why are 4 US pair teams competing? Isn't that unusual? I thought 3 per country was the maximum.
Except in pairs. Host nations get unlimited entrants into pairs.

He spends a lot of time setting up and then he crouches. I also didn't really like the music (godfather) and the program didn't do much for me. I hope their free skate is better.
Some other small details to work on like their entry into the double axels is off.
For the JGP the U.S. earned 3 slots for each event and then an extra host slot. This is allowed under the JGP provisions.
