Judging how everyone else skated...it was deserved. I thought Tanaka's PCS should have been a bit higher, but Farris was commanding during that performance so 71 PCS is really honestly fair, could have been even higher IMO. He really belongs on the GP with jumps and spins like that, plus his speed and flow have improved. But anyways, I'm sure this was good for his confidence, and I'm super excited he executed 3a-3t and 4t with +GOE! And looking at protocols, he gave up points, edge call on flip cost him, one spin was only level 3, the 3lo was underrotated with -GOE and the 2a near the end of the program is likely supposed to be another 3a. Then if you add in the extra step sequence a senior program has, clean, that program is worth a good 160 at least. But 146 is damn good considering it's still AUGUST. Wow. Really impressed.
