hey hush, Kiira is World Champion with her SP score

indeed, feel like I'm watching acrobatics with those many spirals and flexibilities more than figure skating
the music is actually good you can do so much choreography with this program, but not surprised didnt Julia/Tutberidze choreographed her own SP ?

She is only 14 years old. These things should come with time

    Korpi - 3Tx3T combination, 3R, 2A.

All the scores were inflated IMO...u can't compare Kira's maturity and elegance with Julia's sloppy and no transition skating...i agree ,Julia is talented but she needs a lot of work to achieve Korpi's skating skills, and also is a very good skating from Kiira I wasn't expecting 3-3 and such a clean skate this early, good job...I'm pleased with the results.

You highlight the main problem with COP. A lot of elements are included simply to accumulate points. Bring back the 6.0 system, and you will get more elegant, better choreographed programs. Its COP that makes the programs ugly, simply because the main objective is to accumulate points, not construct the perfectly choreographed program

Julia is very confident. Maturity will come with age. This is her senior debut! And quite a good one I think that she will make some changes throughout the season in her programs so I'm not worried about her score))And her spins and jumps just get better imho)

6.0 wasnt perfect either, we wouldn't want skaters not getting penalized with grave UR , edge problems etc., all system needs a rework
I feel they just to emphasize more what components for artistry for this new CoP

The step out on the 3T cost Lipnitskaya the lead. On balance, Kiira deserves to be leading for having skated clean, but not by the margin she is at the moment. Her score, as with everybody elses, is inflated, but hers more so than others

Inflation is relative - but I agree Kiira deserved first and by a comfortable margin.

I really enjoyed her SP - and who says a "green dress can't win"
