Kwan tried to drop a couple of jumpers on Malone, but Malone stole the ball before Kwan could shoot during one possession, then swatted away another shot.
"She challenged me," Malone said.
The 5-foot-2 Kwan reached up to the 6-9 Malone's biceps, even in her black high-heel pumps.
