Seems that they are taking their their turn to help USFSA with promotion -- following in the footsteps of Rippon in Omaha and Wagner in Washington state.

America's Top Skating Dance Duo Kick Off US Championships Ticket Sales

... Meryl Davis and Charlie White, America's top skate dancing duo and silver medalists at the 2010 Olympic Games ... were in Omaha for the kickoff to ticket sales for the US Figure Skating Championships being held at the Century Link January 20-27, 2013. ... We talked about their journey and even a little Big Ten football.

    ETA:

Single-session tickets went on sale this morning.

And BTW, the USFSA press release also says, "NBC will air seven hours of live coverage from the U.S. Championships and two additional hours of the Smucker's Skating Spectacular, an exhibition featuring the top finishers in each level and discipline."

Thanks for the info about the promotion for SA and Natls.

I think it is great idea.....but US Skating still needs to do more. Hope this is just the beginning of better promotion for USA's two premier skating events.

Sadly the new senior B feels more like a "state secret" as opposed to an Inlt sporting event.
