In general, 5.46 and 5.54 for CH e IN look too low for me, her program was emotionally touching, when Keiser's was energetic and "happy", but not really attractive aesthetically and basing on how she used her body to express the meaning of the music... It doesn't matter, the difference is small and it doesn't affect the result!
And I know that many of you will disagree but I think that Park's first place is correct: she was the only one with good quality in all of her elements, good musicality and a "whole package", if you know what I mean...
And yet she lost on PCS to both Uliana and Leah while winning on TES(even though her combo was 3S-2T while the other two landed 3Lz-3T). I know jumps aren't everything and I agree that Park deserved first place overall but I can't understand the scores
The GOEs were the key, I think: all of Park's jumps surely received +1 or (probably) +2, her spins must have been all level 4, when Titushkina and keiser's FCSps were not so beautiful, with positive GOEs, and I wouldn't be surprised if the step sequence received level 4... Yes, I agree with you that the PCS could be higher, but the judges today are so strict...
I'm very happy with So Youn Park's placing. The only thing I didn't like was what I think was her final spin which had some ugly foot-dangly positions in it. Otherwise, it was really a nice program.

Yes, she did not have a good FS at her last outing for sure. I hope she will have a better outing this time.

AND I think her lower PCS are OK. Compared to her first outing where she was a nobody she was clearly under pressure this time which resulted in slower skating and after the mishap in the spin the sparkle of the perfomance was totaly gone away. So good juding in my opinion. The skaters should not get the same PCS because if they don´t perfome the same!
Great to see that Park won with an easyer Combination. Her quality just was so good! If you look at the scores her basic tchnical points are below the 3-3 jumpers bit with her positiv GEO she beat the 3-3 jumpers today because they all had little errros.
AND don´t forget: Kaiser did not only get minus for her edge call in flip but also becaus the jump WAS NOT OUT of steps imidiatly. It should be -3 from all the judges!
Park landed 3S+3T at Asian Trophy 2012 (August) in SP with positive GOE.
After watching the top 6, I think the judges got them in the right order. Park was lovely and as someone above said, the whole package. Titushkina looked competent but slow and the program put me to sleep, Keiser speedier and sparkier but a little sloppy. I like Oba because she looks like a young woman out there, not a little kid. Liinamae has some interesting qualities but this program was frantic to the point of being sloppy, and Miyahara skates through her music, didn't really gel as a program for me. But I am a littleon her PCS, she looked better than that to me.
Watching these ladies' styles and their music selections, I got the feeling that most of them (Park excepted) just got it wrong for their budding natural style. I know it's early in the season and programs haven't gelled yet, but I kept wanting to take X's music and have Y skate to it instead!I don't think it's only a choreography issue.
