I really liked Sforza-Fioretti (I know it's probably because I'm Italian ), I agree their FD was not really an original one, but it was a lot better than last year, technically, especially... Just 0.01 behind the Americans! Stepanova-Bukin were better than in the SD, technically, but I don't like the music and the whole choreography a lot. She reminds me of Krylova... I'm happy for the Canadians, they were a bit overscored, yes, but they were underscored in France so it's a kind of fair, isn't it? I absolutely love "the artist" soundtrack!

Stepanova/Bukin don't do it for me. They don't have matching posture, for one thing, and she is too big for him. She reminds me of Domnina, but he is more mini than Max. Their choreography raises a question for me as well, why borrow moves or music made famous by others, unless you can do them better?

she does remind you of Domnina, they are trying to portray more grown ups on their LP but they are still young , so they can still improve
Bukin Jr. isn't that short, I think he even grew this season

Yeah, I quite like Stepanova/Bukin. I thought they were clearly the class of the field here and that rotational lift was a gem. Some fascinating choreography throughout.

Edwards/Pang were good. Koch/Neuchtern were overscored up the wazoo for that dirge, though. I would reverse the placements.

Robledo/Fenero had an awesome opening lift. The setup almost dekes you out. Shame about the acoustics, though - it took me a good minute to realize what the music was, and it's certainly familiar.

I prefer H/B of the Americans. They had a mistake, but it's a very well thought out program and he has some panache.
