Here are some recent videos about Mao. Thanks to rosewood for posting. Really wish we could see the performances, but Mao appears to be in great condition:

Here is a documentary from MTT Kanagawa stop with some short clips of Mao's performances.

Mao practices her 3A https://mobile.twitter.com/figureskatingm1/status/1081882686996733959
I assume she wants to land it in her shows.

Thanks a lot for the video. The first attempt especially was really nice. Thanks to rosewood for posting this video of Mao's recent shows around Japan.
Mao's marvelous performance to Bach's Cello Suite is shown almost in its entirety beginning at 17:34. https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x6zu5t9

I've just rewatched her 2004 JGPF free program in Helsinki, where she made history.

She was a little bomb. It was uncommon to see a junior (or simply a lady) land 3A and 3F-3T (in 2nd part) in the same program. That layback was beautiful.

“She has it. Already. She’s got it”

This has inspired me to rewatch Mao’s career (again)

Since she will have her thanks tour until the end of 2019, i guess that she won't be at THE ICE this year either.

No she won't. Mao made it clearly that she had bidded farewell to THE ICE in 2017. Besides it's a good idea to have the show pass on to the next generation. According to the updated schedule of MTT, she'll be touring at Niigata or Shiga during that time. Also note that the last stop of MTT will be at Aichi, Mao's hometown. So it's obviously that MTT will probably run for the whole year until then.

Here is an old montage with fantastic and rare footage of Mao posted in 2007. The song playing in the background is very moving, but I had no idea about the meaning until I listened closely after watching the video. So, I guess I will have to watch the footage on mute because I don't think of Mao this way at all. The person posting it probably didn't realize the meaning of the song either.

It's nothing new and Mao has been jumping this combo in her own tour for a while...

And i posted those videos here.....
By new i meant that it's fresh. Something that she did lately, since she posted it yesterday in her IG.
