That's so cool that one of the Seaveys were inspired by Sgt. Preston. I just barely remember it; I think there must have been some oldies channel rerun. But what I really remember is the theme music. So lilting! Could there have been a comic book that I came across? In any case, it was a very exciting idea for a show, and it's easy to see why.

They had the BEST montages for this year's Iditarod, too. I LOVED the one from the re-start/Day 1. Not that it has anything to do with crashes or injuries, btw.

they really did, but a quick search on youtube only brought up 2011! :( The crash montage from this year was pretty epic lol... though my favorite is the one they did millions of years ago where susan butcher biffs it into an unfrozen creek... that was a BAD yearThey had the BEST montages for this year's Iditarod, too.
