I'm watching the Gala right now and they omitted to show Gilles & Poirier, even though they are a Canadian team and even though they finished 4th. Instead they chose to show Hubbell & Donahue who are American and who finished 5th. Why? They pulled this same stunt in the Ice Dance Free over the weekend. Why weren't G&P shown?

Must be a conspiracy. Better bump USFSA up a notch in that most powerful federation thread.

ETA: Not saying Ryan O is implying a conspiracy.

The SC gala posted on youtube showed G/P's exhibition. They skated to a really fun number, "I'm Sexy and I know it!" I loved it! So much fun with Paul wearing these gaudy gold shorts with pink top and Piper in red shorts, and them both wearing nerdy eyeglasses -- it was fun and funny.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L7UDI4_Q61w&feature=plcp G/P number starts about 30:17

I also enjoyed Berton/Hotarek's Dirty Dancing number and Akiko's lovely skate.

ETA:
I also liked Patrick's and Javier's numbers, but I must say I think Jeremy Abbott has done both those styles of skating better with his Hometown Glory and Rhythm of Love exhibitions:
