I remember Oskana Bauil also fixed the ice at her hometown by herself. Oh my... Plushy really loves the ice. Poor Rumanian skaters. They didn't even have the zamboni?
You can see a machine moving around in the background. But for finer cracks and stuff, perhaps they need to do some work by hand. I remember commentators (speed skating commentators, to be fair) saying that the Sochi ice was repaired by placing water/ice on top of cracks and refreezing. It looks like Plushy is putting ice on the cracks in the video.

if so then most ice rinks are done by hand as well. If I remember correcly I saw many times staffs at the ice rink repair the ice by hand as well (in between the junior performance) I didn't see that at Nebelhorn, though. Maybe the Germans have some high tech zamboni?

Cekoni:

In this video some details, which was not recorded...

- 35" of video - Plushy jumped (before this moment) an incredible jump over my head - so I asked him to repeat it... In video is not so high jump (as jump before), but enough spectacular!

- One touching story - on 4' you can heard how Plushy says: "Now much better" ... It is in fact a continuation of the story that we had few minutes before. Then I deliberately turned-off camera, approached him and quietly asked him: "Did really does not hurt you anything, I mean - the spine... really?" He told me that the wound has not completely healed (vertebrae), but it is much better than before (with screws) ... and he began to turns and lifted the sweatshirt to show me the scar on his back. I almost screamed: "No, I saw it, I do not want to look it!!"

At that point he turned to me, smiled warmly and widely... suddenly hugged me and said in my ear: "My friend!". He so strongly embraced me, as if he really lacks friends, who will believe him on the word. I returned him hug, and was a very touched at this point - I knew that he did not need words, just a hug. It lasted a few moments, but it seems to me like a real eternity....

Then he started to joke and continued with warmup ... when I turned the camera, the first thing which he said was sentence at the 4 minutes: "Now much better!"

In this moment I'm really angry..I will fight with his every stupid hater, who doesn't know him. I will love this guy I will support him until his last steps on ice... and beyond.

I'm really happy because of Cekoni. She really deserves that hug.

Thank you, Plushyfan, for all the videos. It seems like he's really trying to make The Snow King international. I hope sales are (really) good in Moscow and St. Petersburg, to convince him to bring it to more places. It seems like Europe is likely, and he's considering Japan and China.

Very interesting to hear his thoughts about skating in the Olympics at home. After so many things, there are still new experiences that try (and fail) to faze him. :)

The situation in Romania is very . Did I misunderstand, or did Plushy really say they didn't even have a Zamboni in their mini-rink?

My pleasure, Sanspiper!

I think that wasn't sport arena, just a hall so they didn't have no Zamboni.

I would like to know what it will take to get him to come to the US and skate...but I'm afraid they will ignore the question. :eek:hwell:

Ooo, interesting. I don't really have anything except what Gallavich mentioned though. (If he comes to the US, I guess I'll be making a cross-border trip...)

@galiavich & Sandpiper - I'm with plushyfan.... Try it! What have you got to lose? If enough people ask, he may answer. :) Or at the very least they will see that there is demand and people who wish him to come - and that will make him happy, I don't doubt!

Actually, I'm more worried that questions in English would simply be ignored, since whoever is managing the whole thing doesn't want to figure out what we're trying to say.

Probably he knows it. His Facebook page was filled with messages from US. after Sochi..for example

"Zhenya, please do a show in New York-- maybe at the Nassau Colisseum, where you performed in the Goodwill Games so long ago. I promise I'll bring a busload of fans with me if you come!" :)
