This is so cute! Mishin dances like everyone's grandpa. I wonder if he goes to the Banquet and shakes it on the dance floor.
That is true...maybe he can sleep on planes? Because I remember just a few weeks back, he, Yana and Sasha came home from Japan and he was out there on the rink at the Academy the very same afternoon! I was seriously impressed and slightly confused.
Awesooome! The Plushy fans should do a holiday pilgrimmage there, not only is a fabulous tropical destination, there's the ice rink!

Standard comment that I should be in asleep, but the Plushenko Cup is on and Sasha just did his program.
Once again I'm impressed by how fast he is! Also he's one of the few kiddies who remembered to take his bow
Anyway I think he's in first right now, but I'm not sure. Also I don't have any idea how many boys are left to go, but I must head off now, so I guess I don't know until tomorrow!

There's already grumblings on the Russian Ladies 2019-2020 thread! Or is this turnover of skaters normal for coaches starting out?

I do take exception to the comment that Plushy's just an Instagram coach. He certainly isn't! He may not have gone to Nastya's competitions (sadly!), but he does go to others with the small kids. He's at one right now, which has given us many a video of Coachshenko at work!

Don't be bothered about the "Instagram coach"-thing. We know how wrong it is - the assumption that Plushy is some kind of hobbyist or dilettante, when we know full well that he always gives 150% to whatever he is doing. It's of no consequence whatever.

Yes, it's a sad business indeed. Well, you know Plushy always says what he thinks - whether that much candour is well-advised or not. He should consider, though, that now he represents not only himself but also his school - but I don't expect him to change. I also am hesitant to wish for someone to be less honest - there's a dearth of honesty in the world as is. Well, Nastya has spoken out also, and that is a good thing. Everyone should be able to have their say.
And thank God for the new rink being in progress - but I was rather hoping it was near to completion and instead not even begun yet. They do desperately need that rink. The small rink is fine for the little ones, but the older kids need more space, especially when learning and setting up the harder elements.
Oh, well, Rome was not built in a day...

Dear Plushenko fans!
This is my last post here. I want to leave the figure skating forums. Evgeni Plushenko and the figure skating forums ( Russians, Americans, Facebook pages,groups, I’m on Twitter for figure skating, etc. ) were my life since 2010. When I woke up, when I have freetime before I went to bed I read these pages…I didn’t call my friends, didn’t meet with them, etc. I believe this is too much. (I can do it because my daughters are adults, but though…) In last year I wasn’t happy in this life, but I came back again and again because I became addicted. I believe if I want to do the leaving I must do drasticly! I won’t read anything. I wasn’t happy because I read too many negativities toward the skaters, coaches, etc. I disagreed with many posters many times!
Dear Plushenko fans here and everywhere! I’m proud of you! You are really nice who like every skater I didn’t read bad words from you on any skater. We are in peace. ( Oh, I wasn’t totally sincere many of us don’t like Yagudin and the reason is not the fact he beat Plush in 2002. Oh, no! We can’t forgive the last 8-9 years especially the years since 2014. )
I came here and wrote this post because of Anonymoose_au who sent me a PM after Anastasia left Plush’s Academy and asked what I know about it. I didn’t know it then but I already read Plush’s statement and Nastya’s post now. I knew ( from Irina) Anastasia often stopped her practice and cried and screamed like crazy and they did not know what to do with her. But this information was totally irrelevant their relationship seemed good. I think Plush would have been more elegant if he didn’t say anything about it. But he isn’t perfect, of course. I can imagine some posters’s opinion here. They forgot something he started his coaching career 2 years ago!! He choose the harder way he founded Russia’s first privat academy. They don’t receive any support from the state, he rebuilded the academy’s building , new ice, new everything. He invested a lots of money in it. There are coaches who are working on the academy. That is working as the other clubs the coaches have own pupils who can work when he is on the shows. Plush is interesting for many people in the world and he didn’t stop the skating on shows. Who could give up $ 4-5 million / year? Probably nobody.
But he did mistakes. He shouldn't have accepted either Sima or Nastya. Sima had many coaches but she wasn’t happy with anyone far from her family. In Nasyta’s case Plush did more serious mistake when he started to coach her because she is really talented and her talent deserves the best coaching , the best treatment and circumstances. If he wanted to coach her he must go with her to the competition but he couldn’t. I hope both of them Nastya and Plush will reach every succes in their life.
I won’t leave the figure skating I will watch the competition as I did since I was 6 years old! I believe I’m going to see Evgeni Plushenko as a very succesful coach at the K&C( I know he must learn many things he needs time!). Maybe I will come and laugh at his haters here!
Finally I say good bye with one of the hundreds fan montages on YT on Evgeni Plushenko. This was a hard choice because there are many great! But this shows how great personality he is! No one comes to close to him!

This is my last post here. I want to leave the figure skating forums. Evgeni Plushenko and the figure skating forums ( Russians, Americans, Facebook pages,groups, I’m on Twitter for figure skating, etc. ) were my life since 2010. When I woke up, when I have freetime before I went to bed I read these pages…I didn’t call my friends, didn’t meet with them, etc. I believe this is too much. (I can do it because my daughters are adults, but though…) In last year I wasn’t happy in this life, but I came back again and again because I became addicted. I believe if I want to do the leaving I must do drasticly! I won’t read anything. I wasn’t happy because I read too many negativities toward the skaters, coaches, etc. I disagreed with many posters many times!
Dear Plushenko fans here and everywhere! I’m proud of you! You are really nice who like every skater I didn’t read bad words from you on any skater. We are in peace. ( Oh, I wasn’t totally sincere many of us don’t like Yagudin and the reason is not the fact he beat Plush in 2002. Oh, no! We can’t forgive the last 8-9 years especially the years since 2014. )

Dear plushyfan - it makes me really sad to read this; we will miss you terribly! But you must do what is best for yourself - it's not a good thing when everything becomes swallowed up by one thing.
I do hope that you will be able to come back to us one day - after having stepped back, and gaining perspective. In the meantime, I hope you will still have much joy in figure skating without the negatives that irk us all sometimes.
