The Romanian show in 2012. They planned one show, but the interest was so high so they organized two shows finally. Plushy arrived from the Seychelles Islands vacation and his nose was tanned. Plushy said he can act a clown without any mask, because he has a big red nose  . He was in very good mood in Bucharest.

^ The 2012 show was sponsored by Prima TV and they were also giving away tickets to people who participated in a contest.

Both the second and the third video are from a Prima TV show called Cronica Cârcotașilor, a very popular satirical program in Romania.

There's another funny part where the translation cannot be heard (at around 4:19)

Presenter: Now we'd like to try something out; our band Jukebox will play a tune you (the audience) are all familiar with and Edvin Marton will try and reproduce it.
- the band plays the particular tune, it's the opening theme of the show, meanwhile Edvin pays attention to the translator and later to Plushy -
Presenter: And this is how you can tell somebody is a genius, he (Edvin) didn't even pay attention to the band - well, we don't pay attention to them during the show either - but he can still reproduce the song.
- Edvin plays the song -
Presenter (to the band): I hope from now on you will be able to reproduce his reproduction because it's obviously way better.

I've seen these before but they are still highly entertaining. :) I thought Plushy seemed a bit awkward or uncomfortable in the second part though - maybe because he didn't quite understand all the questions. He did look very good in that outfit though.

Thank you ioanap for the clips and translations, you are a wonderful resource (not only here, but in the Dai/TJ threads also). I hope we'll see the guys do more interviews this year.

I would support a Dai/Plushy cat program at the Japan Open...if real cats are not available, maybe Stephane can bring back the red cat costume.

Thank you for the translation, Ioanap! I second Gallavich: You're an incredible resource.

With one condition: Cameras must be in the room when Dai and Plushy go up to Stephane and ask to borrow the red cat costume. (Admittedly, I'm not sure if Stephane's outfit will fit either Plushy or Dai... maybe Plushy should stick to teaching his cats to skate).

Y'know, we're always complaining about the blackblackblack costumes, but whenever he's in a plain black shirt, we end up noting how good he looks. Such is the inconsistency of humanity?

gallavich, Sandpiper, thank you for appreciating my input but I only happen to be familiar with several foreign languages and can access different information so I'm just a mediator

Unfortunately Dai is not attending Japan Open and I don't think he's going to the exhibition gala either so Friends On Ice will likely be his last public appearance for a long time from now on.

Hopefully they will reunite on another occasion and look as happy and relaxed as they were in this photo, back at the 2012 Prince Ice World.

Being familiar with several foreign languages is a huge asset in all areas of life. :) *insert speech about globalization, but that's already passé*

Aww, no Vancouver podium reunion... no dance off... but most of all, no kittens! (unless Plushy suddenly shows up to Friends on Ice after all. He needs to invite more non-European, non-Johnny skaters to Kings on Ice!)

Yes, why not Mao or Dai, since they aren't competing this year? It seems like the only Japanese skaters that frequently perform in Europe are Miki Ando and Shizuka...not that there's anything wrong with them, but variety is good.

Maybe it has something to do with marketability--European skaters would be more marketable in Europe? However, I find it hard to believe Florent Amodio or Tomas Verner can sell more tickets than Dai or Mao (no offence to Florent or Tomas, but...).

I think it has to do more with the agency companies they are working with.

Dai was invited to France to skate at Stars sur Glace once in 2007 and... that was it. The only other times he skated outside of Japan were Yuna's Festa On Ice in Korea and Denis Ten's shows in Kazakhstan. Hopefully both him and Mao will get more offers after they turn pro.

Seriously I don't get why Japanese skaters are not invited to skate outside of Japan while Russian, Canadian and US skaters have gotten lots of invitation. I mean Dai and Mao are wonderful skaters, too.

Maybe he's trying to get a body like Yuzuru. ;) He's very lean these days, but not to the point of being unattractive or unhealthy imo.
Maybe because I am Asian, I don't think Plushy looks skinny at all. Being lean is good, very attractive.
Yuzuru is in deed, too thin.

As gallavich said, Kings On Ice would have been a wonderful opportunity to invite Japanese skaters because a lot of them are either retired or skipping this season. There were skaters scheduled to skate in April who can't attend anymore because the competitions are getting closer so the line-up could have easily been completed with retired / almost retired skaters.
